Photographic Cut-Out (After Matisse).

 

 

 

 

These pieces ‘After Matisse’, produced after gaining inspiration from his colourful cut outs.

Here, my photographic Cut-Out is shown beside the original (digital) photograph.

Arranged in two principle ways, I plan to use this method of Art production in the future.

As the dominant feature of the tree in the photograph has been traced and cut-out with a pair of scissors.
